ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The Ramp Church Chatt Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Systems Administrator and the administrative processes of Ramp Church Chattanooga (RCC).  Supporting the RCC Administrative Staff, the Administrative Assistant adds vital assistance through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. This assistance is provided via phone and email communication ensuring that all administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Timeframe and Commitment: One year commitment beginning in the summer of 2022

 

Requirements and Necessary Skills:

 

  • Proven administrative or assistant experience

 

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

 

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Drive

 

  • Excellent time management

 

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work

 

  • Attention to detail

 

  • Problem solving skills

 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide information and answer questions pertaining to RCC

 

  • Maintain RCC annual calendar and anticipate scheduling needs

 

  • Compile and manage announcements

    • Communicate to proper channels, depending on the tier evaluation of each announcement

 

  • Provide content and schedule weekly RCC email

    • Work closely with Systems Administrator and Media Department for publication specific functions

 

  • Manage data. 

    • Enter guest data into database and trigger guest assimilation process

    • Enter new/updated data received from Giving Team

    • Place members in the applicable systems, based on their involvement

    • Manage data and track changes between two databases

 

  • Assist in assimilation processes, specific to email triggers​​

 

  • Assist with creating forms for the administrative processes of RCC

 

  • Coordinate RCC Volunteers for special projects

  • Assist in RCC events, including preparation, coordinating tasks, scheduling volunteers, and executing assigned responsibilities during the event

​

  • Develop and maintain a filing system

 

  • Provide weekly reports to Systems Administrator

 

  • Attend regular and impromptu RCC staff meetings

 

As an RCC Administrative Assistant, you will have hands on administrative processes experience while being an integral part of assisting Ramp Church to carry out the vision of leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus. This opportunity will strengthen your ability to perform individual tasks of a larger goal. You will engage and grow as an administrative team member while increasing your knowledge and experience of information management processes. You will also receive personal discipleship, teaching, and relational investment from RCC staff.
