The RCC Kids Administrative Assistant carries many responsibilities by assisting the Children’s Pastor with needs within the ministry. This person will be able to grow in their ability to lead, organize, and manage within the department. Through hands on training and discipleship, the Administrative Assistant plays a vital role within Ramp Kids bringing life-giving assistance to the Ramp Kids team, children, and parents alike. 


Timeframe and Commitment: One year commitment beginning in the summer of 2022




  • Providing follow up processes for new families                                                                                                                                               

  • Assistance in all volunteer processes                                                                                                                                                                              

  • Keeping family data current                                                                                                                                                                            

  • Organization and management of all supplies                                                                                                                                             

  • Maintain communication with parents                                                                                                                                                      

  • Serve in at least one area of the department                                                                                                                                             

  • Attend all department events                                                                                                                                                                       

  • Personal investment and interaction with children                                                                                                                                      

  • Attend regular and impromptu Ramp Church staff meetings


The Administrative Assistant for the Ramp Kids department will learn practical steps involved in growing and maintaining a healthy children’s ministry. This person will develop skills in problem-solving, creative solutions, task management, and organization. Practically, they can expect to learn to use data and organization to efficiently complete tasks and see growth.  Personally, they will be able to learn the importance of discipleship, responsibility, and leadership within the body of Christ. Through working with the children’s department, the Ramp Kids Administrative Assistant will discover the value and importance of a young life and the life of their families; as well as, how to shepherd them with excellence and integrity.
