EVENT COORDINATOR INTERN

The Ramp Event Coordinator Intern provides vital energy and heartfelt service to the department by assisting with the organization and execution of Ramp conferences and events.

Direct Report: Lauren Bentley 

 

Positions Available: 1

 

Timeframe and Commitment: May 16th, 2024 - May 1, 2025  (Approx. 8-10 hours per week. On conference weeks, the events coordinator intern will be needed for the execution of the event. He or She will be needed at every session of each conference and the day leading up to the event.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and preparation for events--assisting in communication

​

  • Assist in executing events--printing event manuals, gathering needed elements for preservice, preparing gift baskets for guests, etc.

​

  • Offer creative solutions and strategies to improve Ramp Events

​

  • Major Project: oversee all aspects of executing Kids Ramp and Homecoming Picnic

​

     Requirements

​

  • Ability to keep positive attitude and find effective solutions in high-pressured and stressful situations

​

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills--including creating business communication pieces with correct spelling and grammar

  • Willingness to complete any task necessary to make even minute details of the event be excellent

​

  • Be a team player!

 

As the Ramp Event Coordinator Intern, you will gain valuable experience in the inner workings of event coordination while growing in leadership, team-building, management, customer service, marketing, strategic thinking, and organizational skills. This role will assist in the development of effective problem-solving and communication skills. You will also receive personal discipleship, teaching, and relational investment from the leadership classes you will attend throughout your internship.
