ABOUT Student Employment

Student Employment positions are opportunities available for 1st year RU graduates within various departments. Student employment helps to finance the cost of tuition at Ramp University and provides students with a weekly paycheck. Students are required to work a certain number of hours throughout the school year to qualify for full tuition coverage. Details of requirements can be found below.

REQUIREMENTS

Student Employment opportunities are full-term and require approximately a 15-17 hours per week commitment. For you to receive your diploma of completion on graduation day, Students must complete a total of 551 hours by May 1, 2025, or the student must pay the difference. If necessary, Student employees that do not complete their hours prior to Graduation have the option to continue through the summer. A specific deadline would be set for completion, and the Student would not receive their Diploma until the fulfillment of the total required hours.

If the Student is relieved of their position, or if the Student decides to resign from employment then tuition will be prorated for the remainder of the time the student is in school. The Student will have the option to pay the tuition in full or the tuition will be set up with equal auto-draft payments for the remaining balance debited on the 15th of the month paid in full by May 1, 2025. For more details of the late payments and full discloser of financial arrangements, please refer to the RU Student Handbook.
