RECRUITING ASSISTANT

A Recruiting Assistant adds dynamic energy and insight to the recruiting team by assisting the Director of Admissions and Recruiting with planning and executing innovative strategies to increase the number of students in our student body. Through creating connections and continuing established relationships, a Recruitment Assistant adds value to the team and while growing individually in communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

 

Positions Available: 2

 

Timeframe and Commitment: September 1, 2020- August 31, 2021 (15 weekly hours plus travel)

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Be knowledgable and up-to-date on RSM information

 

  • Attend brainstorming meetings with the Director of Admissions and Recruiting and continually brainstorm ways to make RSM recruiting better and be willing to help implement those ideas

 

  • Enter data from contact cards into the Salesforce online database correctly

 

  • Call and email prospective students always using a welcoming tone and words

 

  • Help the recruiting director with any day-to-day tasks

 

  • Recruit at conferences and travel events

 

  • Set up RSM booth prior to conferences and tear down booth after conferences

 

  • Help the Director of Admissions and Recruiting plan, organize, and execute marketing events for conferences 

 

  • Provide ideas, pictures, and fun materials to the Director of Admissions and Recruiting for use on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

 

  • Attend regular and impromptu RSM faculty and staff meetings                                                                                                       

 

As a Recruitment Assistant, you will carry great influence as one of the initial voices that potential students hear, and because of this, you will gain valuable experience in public relations. As a Recruiting Assistant, you will also increase in greater understanding of business and marketing while growing as a self-motivated leader. You will also receive personal discipleship, teaching, and relational investment from RSM staff and faculty.
