The Ramp’s Shipping Clerk and Store Services Intern plays an important part of fulfilling the Ramp’s mission to Awaken, Equip and Send. Through our event store, web store and travel events, an administrative assistant will have the opportunity to develop their abilities to lead, manage and grow…people, products and profit.


Positions Available: 1


Time Frame and Commitment: June 1, 2020- May 8, 2021 (8-10) hours weekly 


  • Weekly hours vary depending on event schedule

  • Must be available the week before each Ramp Event

  • Be on call during Ramp Events




  • Assist in daily task, such as shipping products from both Amazon and Shopify

  • Organize deign team meetings

  • Assist in communication  with volunteers for weekly service hours and monthly conference hours

  • Schedule volunteer workers for each shift of conference weekends

  • Communicate and demonstrate Ramp Store customer service guidelines to volunteer teams

  • During the event, be available for any needs that may arise

  • Interact with conference attendees and volunteers to make sure their experience is the best possible

  • Assist with product development and new product ideas

This position will require:

  • Organizational skills

  • Ability to lead people on larger projects

  • Great customer service skills

  • Computer experience (computer will be provided at Ramp office)


As a Shipping Clerk and Store Services Intern you will gain valuable experience in retail operations, customer service, leadership, and team-building. This role will assist in the development of effective problem-solving and communication skills. You will also receive personal discipleship, teaching, and relational investment from the leadership classes you will attend throughout your internship.
